    White's Spectrum XLT 7?

I saw an ad in a local paper for this detector being sold for $200. I looked up the price for a new one and it had $800, so does anyone think itd be worth it? Right now I'm using a Tesoro Cibola and if its a good upgrade, I would be interested in getting it.

If anyone has any knowledge on this detector or some field experience with it, itd be appreciated if you could let me know how it is.

Thanks for helping and any feedback would be great!

I do not know about the detector , but I would check . It could be someone who is just selling stuff left by a family member who has passed on .
But I would be careful as it could be a stolen one or something like that also , as it is a very cheap price.

I forgot to ask if anyone has an idea of the depth on the machine? The one I use gets about 6 inches, so if I could upgrade to one that gets 8 to 10 or so, it would probably lead to more finds.

Call and get it. That would be something I would jump on.
I hear they are great coin machines..
Don't hesitate cause it's probably gone by now.

The XLT was my first detector and it has served me well. . . for $200 you can't go wrong.

It's great on coins and killer on nickels & Cracker Jack toys

It was in excellent shape when I seen it a couple of yeas ago, unless some one bought it since then and is now selling it again.

Thanks guys, I'll have to talk it over before calling since I'm still not sure if I'll get it (or if i can), but it looks like its probably a solid upgrade from where im at.
