I just got done reading a couple of histories on Transylvania University. I think that we need to take a closer look at this institution. It might have been the early O C S of the K.G.C. Humble beginnings but great training ground out of the way and hiding in plain sight.

If one looks very close there is a link between Transylvania University and Lewis Cass and the University of Michigan. There is a common thread in all of these coincidences. I will let you make up your own mind.

The proof is in the pudding, you just have to know where to look for it. They were Inner Circle and on a presidential level with Jackson, Pierce. Buchanan.....etc....etc. The Civil War was fought only after they lost control of the U.S. Government. Have no fear though, they got it back eventually!

This is what happens when you are late for the party. Thanks for the link to the post. Traditions grow and some old habits are hard to kick. Maybe the reason that the Greek fraternities on campus are so strong. It would be fun to know what frats were on campus in the 1850's. Bet in the day it wasn't the Greek system. There is too much history there to be swept under the rug, or maybe they did. Powerful men can change the way history is written.

The confirmation was nice to hear S.D., and the fact that you were led there by your own research is reasuring as well.
