Hi guys! New member here in need of advice! My dad and I have to start back up with our old hobby of metal detecting and were both wondering what you would recommend for a detector. When we first started we had a cheap lil detector that didn't work too well and we r looking to invest in a quality detector. Were taking it seriously this time lol. I live in the mountains and there is several locations where old houses used to be way up in the woods, and it was common practice to bury money in a mason jar in their yards. I just have a gut feeling I can find something cool up at those sites but I need a metal detector that scans down pretty far. Any suggestions?

Wrong forum, 'Naught. back up one to Metal Detectors and try again. You won't find anything serious here.

I like the Garrett AT pro for the money. It is a dependable easy to use detector.
