MM 46: glad your back. I've looked at some of those carvings and I have to say that they are so different. I get a feeling they were done by different clans from different parts of Europe. one are two groups running around the east? no way. there had to be many over several hundred years. each clan must have used there own secret writing system. similar in stile, but one clan could not understand another. then the tribes would use lines for there own purpose. and has we move closer to the twilight zone. I bid goodnight.

Just got this from stuff about the Indians killing Spanish in Utah. The Spanish used something like the stick writings to describe a map to the mines or caches they had. if you locate one feature you can id with a topo you can overlay a topo on the writing or vise versa and it will be almost an exact map of the terrain features like creeks/rivers/ridges! Cool stuff!
