My magnet actually found something I needed but the value is only 4¢

Last week I was putting a gate up on my new front yard fence. The bolt on the gate latch was just slightly too long so I looked everywhere for a washer. I found lots but not the right size. So I was going to have to drive to ACE hdw for a four cent purchase. While in my carport I noticed the two magnets I used for fishing. I had not been fishing in over a month but one of them happened to have two rusty washers still stuck to it. One was actually the exact size I needed.

So if anyone ever tells me I will find nothing useful magnet fishing I have a true story.

For me magnet fishing has the same thrill as actual fishing when you "hook" something kind of heavy, and rarely do you come away with nothing. You always get something, and the possibility of finding something cool is always there
