No doubt I will have to get a book for reference,I do enjoy the checking them out and have always had an interest in marbles just never took the time to learn about varieties and the such...have found a few old clay ones metal detecting and actually researched the property on one and came up with a boys name who I assumed had lost while playing outside.And like I mentioned before,back when...say 30 years ago I started finding in old buildings we would rehab and kept all I could find.So got some free time so will learn a bit,hopefully enough so if I see a jar at garage sale can determine if adding to the ones I have now..greatly appreciate you guys help and will post pics of finds I get.



That red one is not a pelt either... right colors, but this is a modern vacor. Vacor made several marbles in the same color combos as Peltier did. The new pics showing more angles told the rest of the story.
