A week ago today boulder dash and I were doing a little beeping to take a break from dry washing...
I managed to swing over this 2.4 Ounce monster nugget

During the 4 day trip we also managed to find a few pickers, and pulled over an ounce of gold from the dry washer... We ran 265 buckets !

Over an ounce of fines in the tray..

While a 2.4 ounce IS respectable it pales when compared to the nugget that was found a couple of years ago near my claim. That one was a 6.9 or so and was found about a mile and a half from my digs. ...and people wonder why I staked my claim where I did! Up hill from that location... ;)

Those two guys work harder than anybody I know. They earn every piece they find. Hard work does pay off. Congrats guys. Dennis

Stupendous Find! Thank you for sharing! It is not every day anyone finds something like that and each one is special in its own way, now if you could have a program you could hook your Apple into that would assist in the hunt, what a new dimension that would create! Best of success at your claim though it seems like you have it already.....................63bkpkr

Lanny wished it was my piece, but sadly was not, but it couldn't happen to a bunch of more well deserving and hardworking guys.
