Hi all, a few moths back i purchased a bunch of Minelab F1A4 detectors at a .Gov auction, figuring if they find tiny copper contacts etc in mines they will find gold..

I was indeed correct, these F1A4 machines are comparable to the SD 2200 (my all time favorite PI) and better with a few simple mods.

Anyway, attached pix of the modified F1, and gold..

HH All.

Ex gov minelab mine detector PI, basically an SD 2200 in a weird box on a heavy ass shaft.. Modified these machines are on par with any of the GP series machines.
