Minelab Sovereign XS-2 Pro

Does anyone have an opinion or experience with the Minelab Sovereign XS-2 Pro detector? I am getting started (again) after many years, with gold prospecting. One of my tools is this machine and I am adding a Garrett pro pointer next week. I have access to 60 miles of claims through a club and plan on doing some crevassing to find some of the hidden nuggets. Is this machine suitable for this task?

as much as I love the
Sovereign XS-2 Pro
for Reics & Gold Jewelry.

you won't Find small nuggets with it that I'm aware of.

I Have a GPAA Test Card with a Nugget.

Mine wouldn't signal on it.
even through the S1 Probe

& Most gold Nuggets are smaller then the one on their card



Dime for size comparison


of course they may detect gold Nuggets the size of your Fist.

But Unless GPAA Ripped me off & sent me fools gold
get a "Gold Detector"
