Ive have a cibola an it was my first detector an a bit of a learning curve. I have always thought im missing somthing not having ID an depth. SO here is hoping it gets here safe with the entire kellyco package. Any words of advice from all you 250 hunters out there.
I started out with an Ace 250 and still think its the best machine in it's price range. It's especially good on jewelry in parks. Simple and straight-forward, and really liked the notch-discrimination. My only gripes were poor target separation with the standard coil (never tried the sniper coil) and lack of a threshold tone to tip you off when you were in the iron. I bought a used Minelab with the change I found over two summers, but still break out the Ace when I hit the parks.
