Anyone have any information on IR detectors

Cant rember who was making them but ones where you wear a headset saying they could pick up metal objects due to the way they cooled underground.

Do mot know about this tool.

However why not just use a laser thermometer. That is what I use.

I think you might have better luck posting under techniques.
