My First Ring!
So I went out for about an hour today. I started a new spot on a small shore line at my local lake. After digging up a 6 pack of budweiser cans so carefully placed in the ground, I need to wash then out so I could continue on. While I was washing them in the lake I saw a small gold ring just in the shallow. So even though I did need my md to find it, I would never have if I hadn't been searching. Happy Hunting

Oh yeah for sure. Lots of children swim there and glass is everywhere. It is really sad, my goal is to clean the Hell out of that shoreline.

So the ring says 10K and FML©. From the pic does this ring look plated?

Detecting fever comes and goes.
I personally have found just 5 rings in for now, I don't go out as often as I would like to, but every time I've found one I was happy, no matter what it was made of...
Metaldetecting is a beautifull hobby, and it's the only hobby that once you covered the cost of your equipment it doesn't have aditional costs. I would like for someone to tell me ONE other hobby that is like this...
