Took my new Minelab Advantage to a local park, only second time I've used it. Could see that a 10" coil is a bit big for park detecting. Does Coiltek or anyone make a smaller coil, say in the 5 to 6" range, for the Advantage? As to the detector, just learning it so not yet digging the iffy signals that could have been deep coins.

dan,
the Slimline 800 coil is only a tad over 7" in diameter and does nicely at trashy sites ,the 5" EXcelerator coil is the only optional smaller coil i'm aware of and will separate targets better but the TS 800 is a better general purpose coil for most hunting in my opinion. The 10" coil is great when trash density is fairly low and ground coverage is the main purpose. HH Bill
