I actually enjoy the show, especially in these winter months when the ground is covered and frozen. I don't care that they get goofy when they find something great, and I don't feel that it devalues the hobby in any way. We should all have things that we are as passionate about.

Not at all .... I agree !!!! I was plastered and all I wanted to watch was metal detecting !!! Not comedy, sports or even a good concert !!!! Its really a sickness we have .......
