Don't get me wrong… I believe the finds a real… However, everything around the fines is staged. Once something is located and they see it's of some value, they stage the discovery and the associated reaction

The way the explain it on their website is they dig up the finds and have some fun reacting to them. Then they sometimes put the find back in the ground or the plug to get the discovery better visually recorded for the show. But the finds and reactions are real.

Hey, Digger Dudes...

I'm still waiting for your producer to call me for a guest appearance.

I get uncontrollable hiccups and wet myself when I find gold. (don't care if it's planted or not)

Then I'd like to get my own spin off show. I'll put together a dysfunctional group of TN coin roll hunters. We will go from bank to bank creating hi-jinx and laughter along the way. Think of the fun when one of our personality's finds a RACO (rare coin) in the SlipnSlide (coin slot).

Oh the hilarity of buying a roll of SuzBee (Susan B. Anthony) coins or runs across a Winkle (war nickel).

When you get a silv ender you get to spray your clad loving buddies with silly string while running from the Barney Fife security guard.

Dont be a hater. These guys have been detecting together and acting this way before they had a show on tv. There just living the dream. Its a great show people need to lighten up and learn to laugh every once in a while.

last nights episode was cool & a bit Subdued :laughing7:

however if there are Slots there & wanna find them,
they need to dive the deep parts of the lake.
or look for hidden rooms underground.

But remember these were mobsters.
these were their machines.
odds are that after the raids,
they wanted business as usual to resume.

So they were probably hidden behind false walls,
and returned to operation immediately after any potential raid.

The slot machine key was the best find of the show imo

I just don't suffer fools well.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but I would act like a fool myself to get permission to those sites, and get paid big bucks to swing a detector there...heck fire, I act like a fool sometimes just for my own enjoyment! :tongue1: (Que the fidde music)

People have never acted foolish or funny before Diggers, so it's breaking new ground. Have to give the silly stuff a chance to see if it catches on.

Please, be serious when you dig. It's a somber and serious occasion.

I wanted so badly to see them hop in the lake! Had a bunch of roundness today.. Silver pocket watch chain too.
It looks funny to see the title of this thread right next to the number 219 for posts
