Hi all,
My name is Will Stoner. I am Special Events director at the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA).
I am looking for someone who would like to do some metal detecting for me at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
The AMA puts on a motorcycle event at Mid-Ohio each year that has large swapmeet area. We mark the corners of the rows with railroad spikes that are buried in the ground. For the last ten years, a gentleman from the Akron area would come down to the track each spring and locate the corner pins with his metal detector. After he found the pins, which took less than two hours, the race track let him browse the spectator areas for coins, rings, etc.? He thouroughly enjoyed prospecting the spectator mounds. Unfortunately, poor health prevents him from finding the pins this year.
