Garrett 350 Ultra two box coil mod. Is it possible?

I was looking to tinker with my Garrett Ultra 350. The coil is screwed up on the unit. It has no depth. I did put a new one on at a Garrett dealer shop and it regained it's depth. So, the coil is shot and I don't want to buy a new one.

I was was thinking about making a two box coil for it. Has anyone ever made one before? Is it a waste of time? I do have time to tinker and many tools at my disposal. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,, I Know You Won't Like This Answer. I Think It's Possible But At The Same Time It's A Waste Of Time. The Reason I Say This Is, It's Going To Be Alot Of Trial And Error And Unless You Have The Right Equipment And Knowledge And Specifications Of Your Machine You Will Be Beating Your Head Against The Wall.. A Better Solution Is Keep An Eye On Fleabay Etc.. Just Go And See A Movie And Enjoy Life One Will Turn Up. I Bought A Nice Two Box Detector Off Of Fleabay For Under $50.00...Thanks
