I never understood why people always ask someone who has not opened the box yet to post reviews about new detectors, I would think they should ask someone who has already been using one for a few years

Here is a quick review, had mine for about two months...Great land machine, can work wonders in places that are "hunted hard", As a water machine...good in trashy area's , shallow, but not the best water machine....

Headed to the beach this weekend and I hear there's some erosion so wish me luck, I can tell you already that the balance of the machine is much improved and easier on my arm than the explorer

One thing I can say about the CTX3030.
It is the best all rounder of all detectors, period.
It just does everything, not to the extreme extend that some other detectors would do some things like, extreme depth etc., but this machine goes everywhere.

Agreed! We have 4 different packages on the CTX 3030 on our website because it is so versatile!
