The rest of my 68 chevy pickup is inside. I'm tryin to get it put together to cruise this summer but just cant find the time with all the metal detecting i've been doin. I'm a chevy man all the way. Wish I could go back in time and pick up a few of the 427's that I used to have sittin around the old oak tree where I grew up.

I cant figure out how you are smart enough to use Whites metal detectors, but still like Chevy's. I guess we all have our faults. ;D ;D. Nice to see you.

Im old school when it comes to my chevys. I think the new ones s#?k. My newest one is an 86 4x4 that I took what little computer out that it had and replaced the junk 305 with a 454 big block. It gets me around town. I just sold two old pickups on Ebay, a 68 with original 396 big block and an original 52. Part of the 68 profit bought my new dfx. I used to only deal in 67-68 camaros but who can afford those these days.

Im a lifetime Chevy man myself, 1st car at 15 was a 71' Nova, 327 with 3 speed on the floor. Fast & fun, all the cheerleaders liked my car! Had a 62' shortbox, fleetside pickup with the big rear window for years, 235 straight six & 3 speed on the collumn. I had big tires & chrome rims on it, painted primer black but all the chrome shined! I'd take it out at night & damn! that thing looked so good, cant tell you how many youngsters would trip on the collum shift........."that aint an automatic, what the hell is that?" They had never seen a 3 speed on the collumn! Silly kids! I sold it 6 years ago & have regreted it every day since! I just gave my girlfreind my 94' 4x4 suburban(she loves it) & just bought an 86' 4x4 suburban for myself, lifted 4 inches, 350 with headers & custom exhaust, for a big truck this thing climbs like crazy! Id rather push a Chevy than drive a Ford................& dont even get me started on Dodge!!! ;D
