Nice Finds All!
Here's a Silver Madonna spoon I dug recently.
Severely plow bent, I heated & straightened the bend & dings, came out nice.
surrounding the Madonna on the front is:
'O Mary Who Conceived Without Sin Pray For Us Who Have Recourse To Thee', on rear, A heart with nail, and heart with sword surrounded
by stars, made by 'Amcraft Sterling' probably early/mid 20th century.
Thanks for looking! & HH ;D

I find very few religious items. This is from 2009, fairly small but over 250 years old.

This is very cool! :hello2:

Wow, so many phenomenal and gorgeous finds in this thread!

My finds are meager but are my favorites. THE favorite is the Elizabet Ann Seton (1774-1821) "touched relic" pendant, with a piece of cloth. It was found in a fairly modern park so probably of modern manufacture, but it's still neat.

I find a lot of Judaic stuff in my area, along with the usual amount of St. Christoper etc.

Here are a few of my personal favorites.
This one was found without a metal detector:

And this one is David Yurman, sterling silver and 18K gold:

Russian Orthodox Icon from late 18th century.

Icon.jpg

On left side there is “Our Lady of the Sign” (Holy Mary and Child Jesus) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Lady_of_the_Sign

On right side there are three saint characters. The rightmost character is Archangel Michael. Basil of Caesarea (Saint Basil) is in the middle. Leftmost saint is unidentified. He is some priest with chalices.
