Here are mine...Two years (and a bit) has given me this to date. Most of my finds have come from three parks nearby, and my( ) mountain. I know pretty much next to nothing on the date of any of these, so feel free to express any ideas or share any knowledge. Look forward to seeing everyones pieces

Religious items seem to come up at least once per month. The silver and gold religious items are harder to find. The first item on the top was found while on vacation on Inch Beach Ireland in 2006. All the other medals were found in parks, schools, and water hunting.

My best religious find is this circa 1940 sterling silver magnetic St. Christopher medal with lightning bolt. Medal depicts a C1940 car, a train, an ocean liner and propeller-driven airplane to the top and bottom. Also, though medal is not marked sterling, my business partner saw this item at an antique show in its original box, and the box or paperweight inside stated that the medal is sterling. I found this medal in a small section of woods along Route 25A in the Northport-Fort Salonga area and it was found near the road. Magnet still works and I have the medal attached to the metal speaker cover at the center top of the dashboard near the windshield in my car. It's been on my dashboard about four years now, and so far it works real good!

My second best religious find is this gold chain and cross with lots of diamonds, weighing 1.5 ounces.
