I've had better years but I've had much worse, these a most of the keepers I got for 2011, I think that I found about 350 wheats but really can't remember. I have a half gallon ball fruitjar that's about topped off full of wheats.

Unless I am mistaken,the star shaped object in the third pic between the Boy Scout pin and the sheriff badge is a G.A.R. Member badge.

yes it is and I looked up the serial number on it and it's from the early 1880's I was really a happy camper when I found it. In 2010 I found the top part of a GAR souvenir from 1899 I think.

Boy, Giant, I'd sure like to go detecting with you some time. That is a really nice haul. Just guessing by its shape, but is the cartridge case a .38-55?
