This ones for the birds

Thought i'd share a photo of a couple of my birds with you all. That's Bud in the foreground and Shea on top. Shea is a Green Winged Macaw and Bud is a Hybrid cross between a Green Winged and a Blue and Yellow Macaw.

Thanks for the replies. Bud has a limited vocabulary of about 50 words. Shea doesn't talk too much but every now and then he'll mimic something Bud says. Shea was "rescued" from someone that kept him in an empty room in a corner all by himself every day with no attention given to him, half his feathers were plucked out when we got him. Birds need a lot of attention, they are like two year old children. They don't get attention they act out. Anyway, they are beautiful birds and they get plenty of attention from the missis.

God and the code of proper conduct in the workplace have ordained that I may never, ever, own a bird that I could teach to talk, so I envy those that do have them. Very beautiful birds, and it sounds as though they could not have found a better home.
