found this in my back yard, "please bear with me"

Been a bear here raiding the garbage cans, it walked under my front window twice now so I guess the local DNR got word and placed this trap. I'll let ya know if it gets caught.

Jack,

In the second picture I think I see a round shiny silvery looking object way up by the grating. Could you get on your hands and knees and crawl in there to check it out? :laughing7:

Yogi would send Boo-Boo in first. A bear killed a woman down by Ouray the other day. She apparently had been feeding wildlife for years. Up here we try to take extra precautions to eliminate any food sources for them but they still come around. I'll work on trying to get pictures, once I get over my embarrasment over the aborted moose photo shoot.

for what its worth in Wa state hunters an DNR both use glazed doughnuts to attract bears or catch them ,sounds funny but they cant resist em ,might not hurt to throw a box of em in the back of that trap. :icon_thumright:

Glazed donuts might attract the cops before the bears

If it doesn't work, it looks like a good place to HIDE from the bear!
