Great shot :icon_thumright:. I've looked into owl shots for a while, they're hard. Do you focus on the beak, the nose hairs or the eyes?, you got the shot right :thumbsup:. I have an owl specialist/ collector/something near to me and I'm thinking about doing a session there,, but I'd like to get some shots of our wild owls if possible :laughing7:

Excellent pic! My family always considered owls bad, but of course these are the same people who would refuse twenty dollar bills in payment, wanting two tens or four fives. (Andy Jackson's pic on the twenty) Superstitious fools! We always heard screech owls in the woods, but I can only say I 'knowingly' saw them about 3 times. That coloration is perfect camoflauge unless they move.
