I think I'm older than the outhouse, bravowhiskey. For one thing it was placed on a concrete foundation, which is kind of unusual. We do have a few up here that date from the 1870's and the construction's similar. (Really limited ways you can build a 3 x 3 wooden shed) There was a house on the site but only the native stone chimney remains. I didn't detect it, but I would date the whole place back to maybe the 1950's. The house was burned to the ground, I guess by lust crazed hippies or BLM who wanted to remove the unnatural offensive structure and return the land to it's former state.
