Day started off half-way decent, but snowin with thunder this afternoon. Watched some Ospreys and checked out an old home site. You never know what you'll run up on out in the woods (besides me) but I have no clue why somebody tied this surf board thing to a tree.

I think I'm older than the outhouse, bravowhiskey. For one thing it was placed on a concrete foundation, which is kind of unusual. We do have a few up here that date from the 1870's and the construction's similar. (Really limited ways you can build a 3 x 3 wooden shed) There was a house on the site but only the native stone chimney remains. I didn't detect it, but I would date the whole place back to maybe the 1950's. The house was burned to the ground, I guess by lust crazed hippies or BLM who wanted to remove the unnatural offensive structure and return the land to it's former state.
