I was snoozing on my bed when all of a sudden BAM. A bird hit the window. Sounded big. Opened the window and looked down at a dizzy Sharp-shinned Hawk. About 20 minutes and she was good to go. Gary
A place I lived long ago had a big picture window and a neighborhood cat would hang around it knowing that every now and then a bird would try to go through it.
Cute little thing, nice that he survived. In Atlanta we have lots of trees, birds and office buildings with reflective glass windows that totally reflect the trees. Go almost any of these type buildings and you will find a dozen or more of dead birds who break their necks flying full speed into what they think are just more trees.
