Hey treasure dudes,

I'm brand spankin' new to hunting. I've done some metal detecting in the past along with a bit of gold panning but I'm looking to step up my game. Are there any clubs in the SW Washington / Portland, OR area that you can recommend to get started?

I'm not a fan of clubs...I think you are better off finding an experienced partner who is willing to teach. Also check out the GPAA.

And hi from the mouth of the cowlitz. Portland has a club that meets once a month. First Wednesday of the month I think. Keep telling myself I would like to go but may wait until spring temps return.
