That was more than likely used to crush grains and berries in rather than a "Paint Pot". Very nice looking piece though.

Nice one with all the cups. Does it also have cups on the other side?

No cups on the other side....
It was a surface find, face up.
Weather and sun over time has
removed all organic stains from
the grinding areas.
