Shame its broken in half. The first tip of the quartzite would of been a great one.

That is so cool to find the matching piece...that is almost cooler than finding a whole one.

Thanks for the reply folks. The larger top half was found at the base of a pine tree, the bottom half was brought up by my tiller. I guess the acid from the pine tree may have contributed to the difference in patina.
