Nice! I'm the proud caretaker of a few bone artifacts from North Dakota myself he is a cool guy isn't he!?!

Those are very nice GatorBoy, like the sharks teeth...guess they were for a necklace? This is what we have, not much..lol

Very nice bone artifacts. New England's acidic soil means bone does not last long. Mostly found in shell heaps and shell refuse pits in sandy soil. Here's one end of a bone comb found in a Ma. shell heap. It has 2 different size teeth on either side, not unlike some combs today....

What an awesome artifact!
I wonder if that was used for hair or for marrying together the coils of a clay pot.

I've posted mine before, and there isn't anything new here, but here they are- one piece looks a lot like Gator's big bone 'handle'.

Nice display of bone there yak.
That large piece does look a lot like mine it actually looks like a cross between two that I have
