Welcome to t-net. Your point here in the southeast with the way the base is(straight) would be considered a Knights Island. Heavily reshaped on the tip and probably was of hexagonal shape going back to the tip once.. Further reading states that in Ohio it is typed as a Raccoon creek? Hope this helps get you started on the right path,lots of good Ohio hunters here. Maybe they will chime in and help. I have been wrong before.

It looks like it could be a Raddatz or a Black Sand point or a broad base Big Sandy JMO because the way the base is made, my first guess would be a Black Sand. Nice find:thumbsup:

Man... That's a nice early archaic side notch point...with the patina to go with it.
It would get called a Bolen here...but it looks like a well made Big Sandy where you are to me
