I made it to the creek twice more this week!

Does anyone have any ideas about what types the first three are? I think the one on the left is an Osceola..

Great finds and very good photos. It might help if you would post what area they came from for a better ID.:icon_thumright:

I would call the first one maybe a Hemphill, broken base one maybe a Adena or Gary, the next one looks like a Holston. Check out this site on points for ID projectilepoints.com it will help you a good bit for your area. Nice finds and that is a good looking creek:icon_thumright:

right on man. Looks like that creek is producing well for you..Nice post and finds. I really like that first one. A Big sandy type was the first thing to come to mind looking at the first one. Monsterrack nailed it with Hemphill.

You scored again no question about that. After you think you have found all of them on the top go back and try looking through the gravel past the surface. You have to stand rite above it and look straight down. Its a challenge but once you learn to look past the surface it get easier especially in the dried channel section on the gravel bars. Most times you will just see a tiny section or color then use your stick to pop them out.
