Hello, you guys inspired this post past couple days with the best of stuff....that said, earlier this year I found my first chert piece, have been very lucky right on my property, and now have a few cool pieces. Here’s the bifurcated base points I’ve located in the cliff overhangs so far. Please add yours to this post, Would love to see the varieties out there. Not sure of chert types, enjoy and thanks ! Here’s a McCorkle or something I found in North Carolina. The hoe in the picture is from the St Louis area but happens to in the only pic I have of the McCorkle.

Here a tray of some of my best ones. These are about 95% personal finds. Scioto and Lawrence counties in Ohio and Greenup and Lewis counties in Kentucky.

We don't find many bifurcates in our area although we have found a couple. Here is one made out of Spanish Diggings Quartzite. It measures exactly 1 inch in length.
