There appear to be a lot of newbies joining this paper currency forum of late. Welcome.

Many have the same question. " I found xxx. Don't know about paper currency, what is it worth ? "

Just like there is a Red Book for coins, there is also one for paper currency:

It is a very good reference book and will answer many of your questions.

cool, but if we know everything about it, what will we have to dicuss on here? I'd like to get a red book, but it's cool being able to talk to people about what they think things are worth.

The book in kinda expensive if you just have a couple notes.

If you have questions on value, post them and I'll look them up in my book. Glad to do it for you guys.

Thanks jasonb, and plus, alot of times with serial # oddities, its hard to find its value in a book. I personally use a book i check out from a library.

Coinworld has a link for paper money values if you sign up for their digital version(free).

This may not have the variations discussed on this board but, I hope it helps.

Cheers!
