OK, I have the wills and estates of a couple of the Daubenspecks, will look tomorrow. The Daubenspecks seem to be all buried in Zion Stone Church cemetery, wherever that is, although I did visit the site and photograph the tombstones back in the late 90s.
Another surname and of course Grandfather of mine, who married a Christina (Dina) Daubenspeck is Solomon Kleckner (1820-1881)...

Jeff, I was looking through the estate paperwork of Jacob Daubenspeck who died in 1827 and there are three maps of three seperate (I believe) parcels of land in the estate, and I have to photograph them and then post, hopefully there will be enough detail to figure out the exact locations, but these are photocopies from the Schuylkill County Historical Society records, I believe.

Will post pics later.

Estate Maps of Jacob Daubenspeck -1828

I did my best I could photographing these photocopies of the 3 maps from the 1828 Estate Records of my deceased ggg grandfather Jacob Daubenspeck. Will start looking at the West Penn Twp maps now and see if the properties can be located.

Jeff, no Reinharts at all, familar name in Reading area, but no relation. Just started looking now, bit confused by the 3 maps, but should be solveable. Other estate maps I have and have seen at least had a road name or two, or name of the stream!

I did see a Peter Trexler mentioned, Trexler are grandparents also from that area and just over the border into Lehigh. I think their original name was Dreschler but "Americanized" to Trexler.

Jeff, Hmmmmmmmmmmmn, small world, btw, Bolich, I have that name in my files also, one of my Yosts married a Bolich. OK, I got to digest what you have posted and look on parcel maps and live maps and get my bearings and may have to contact one or two of them and see if related or what. The original estae of Jacob was over 300 acres according to the written portion of the estate file.

I think you remember I told you about the Yost's in McKeansburg, and that Daniel I believe was a well known circuit judge and his portrait is hanging in the hallway of your courthouse in Pottsville.

You did good researching, I just have to get it all straight in my head now and see if it all matches.........

I have the parcel website, so should be no problem with addresses. I am going to start printing out the parcels and color code the properties and will make a nice project when finished, still a few more grandparents farms to look for in all three counties.

It Just Happens West Penn Twp is the Largest in schuylkill County also
Which makes for alot of work Also.

how is your research going Don i see you mention Trexlers just over the Lehigh border i was doing
some ancester - cemetary searches this summer Albany - Greenwich Twp. areas and i widened my search
to New Bethel Zion - Mt. Zion Lutheran Church cemetary and after i saw you mention Trexlers i was pretty
sure i saw some at this church so, i revisited it on Dec 31st and i was right they're are some there
note: i did'nt find a Peter Trexler but i " did'nt " search the old section it was snowing and the winds
were at least 20 - 30 that day
there was 1 - large Trexler gravestone(no first name) and 4 - small stones with names like i said there
could be more in the old section here are the directions if your interested i hope you can read it

i also went to New Bethel Church cemetary Dec. 31st + Jan 4th i can't d - tect so what the hey
again there was 1 - large Trexler gravestone(no first name) 1 - with 5 names 1 - with 3 names +
12 smaller ones with names i did a quick search of the old section too again no Peter Trexler
i did'nt find any Strassers either a lot of broken, missing stones many in german and hard to read
still a possibility it's there though i was kinda rushing it though cause it was getting dark

i thought you might want to see this Don JG_in_NC showed a view of New Bethel
Church from the air i was up there in 99 and i thought i took a lot of photos well, i could
only find 2 JG's photo it appears to be flat terrain here's what it looks like approaching
it on New Bethel Road the cemetary is a hill everywhere up there is valleys and hills

Don, i got some information last night from a relative > on the tax list you posted
you have a big area in "orange" all of those property owners belong to the Kempton
Circle of Gen Church of Jerusalem i was told they all are......... Swedenborg's
there is a farmhouse and a barn they own on Hawk Mt. Rd and behind the barn
they buildt a church - school here's a photo of the farmhouse and the barn

this is the 3rd last farm on Hawk Mt. Rd. going east toward New Bethel Church Rd.
