Find a cannon stuffed with coins, sort of a beach cache maybe.....then more likely it would be a swivel gun up shallow.

Should build up some bastions on the corners of the house and cupola... In case of an exchange of volleys.

Keep looking for those cannons sads669. If those fishermen told you they are there, if anyone would know, they would.
3 years ago a Jamaican I was working with showed me a picture of a Bronze cannon that was taken in shallow water, that his Fisherman cousin had taken. I tried to get him to hook me up with his Fisherman cousin to show me where the Cannon was located. The best I could get was a general location. They didn't want to give up the site.
Last year a guy I'll call " JOE " gave me a satellite photograph of this General area with the GPS numbers of several Bronze Cannons in this area, with Gold and Silver around the wreck site. I think "Joe" is going to be at the cookout.
Mel Fisher once told me that he relied on Fishermen's information to find wrecks. So Good Luck and let me how you make out on your search.

Kev, make the fishermen go out on your boat and show you the site. Take a bottle of Rum with you and tell them they can drink all they want. AFTER they find the cannons for you.
