I noticed on mine the reverse side (cross) the ends of the cross have sort of a diamond shape at the tips.
I can't seem to find another specemin like that.

True. I did notice that. Any idea on age?
Mackaydon chimed in on todays finds. He feels it's Mexican 1/2, 1668-1697.

Its definitely a half and by the monogram its Charles II
The dates of his reign is what dates the cob.
1665-1700
