Looked for a while last night and all I found was mainly people mistaking natural rocks for artifacts. hoping these can help people with comparing real artifacts with fakes. Found the morrels outside while cleaning some rocks lol
Favorite find from last year. My mom was killed July 2023 and I found this point the first Mother's Day without her meant a lot as she was the one who forged my passion of chasing down and preserving history one point at a time. The spiritual kinship you have with the creator of each piece is...
Hey guys, I’ve been trying to learn different rock types because I believe it’ll help me identify Native American artifacts out in the field. Is this a piece of chert? It looks like some examples I’ve seen online. It is really hard and I can’t scratch it with a steel nail.
I've been finding some interesting pieces whole working in my yard. Curious what others think.
Uploading one picture at a time is cumbersome. First post so fumbling a bit.
If I can get a few more pictures up here you may be able to discern a fossilized bivalve. f

I have an extensive collection of rocks and minerals from Pennsylvania, but the past few days I have been getting into searching for artifacts along the suski and related areas. I have found many arrow head shaped rocks but have been told all are just rocks so far. I have searched extensively...
So I have a large collection of cool rocks. Some are from Indiana and some are from Ohio, I was just recently getting a closer look at some of them and I have a handful that appear to be possible artifacts. I don't know if they would fall under the category of effigies or not, but I'll post the...
Hello Treasure Net,
Last time I posted was 2 years ago and I am back on the Net:headbang:
So basically I need some help finding native american artifacts. I live in Northeast Wisconsin (Oconto County) and am not sure where to start.
We own some field that I have been searching but have had...
Hi everybody. My 14 year old son and I search for pioneer history in the Pacific Northwest. This week we found a homesite and got this pocket watch and almost complete pair of spectacles! We’ve made a couple videos of our detecting adventures if you want to check it out!
Came across this "Collection of Artifacts" on Ebay and I am new to collecting native american artifacts but they look suspicious to me. Is it just me or does anyone else see it too?
I just started getting into collecting Native American Artifacts. Mostly points but I do collect other things. Thought I would share a photo of my newbie collection thus far. Made the Shadow boxes myself. Inlaid the shadow box lids with buffalo nickels and epoxied arrowheads (fake ones) to the...

My first find was amazing. I don't have that many miles put into this find. Ive been hunting for approximately 3-4 months. I happen to have a honey hole within walking distance of my house. I have named that place the Honey hole. This is a once in a lifetime find.
Eastern Kentucky find. I’m pretty sure it’s a knife but I’ve had a few people tell
me this looks like a flint Celt? Appreciate any advice in advance :)
I will state we have been looking for things for a while. We have come across some amazing things. I believe a treasure vault is not far. We need help to Decipher the clues. We have found all kinds of markings some may have been Jesuit some Spanish. We have located a turtle carving. I will...
Wasn’t even looking. Stone was solidly embedded in ground and I kicked it several times until it flipped over. It was covered in hardened dirt. I thought I saw something on it so I cleaned it off and wow, wasn’t expecting this. It was next to my home in a gated community just over the
