I just got some amazing permissions to bottle hunt last weekend, and permission to go back as I want to. A 52 room hotel (that had a sewage system), the foundations of a doctors house and boarding house, and the remains of several old store...
Going through stuff to put in yard sale. I can’t even remember where i got the bottles. They look like they were dug, but I didn’t dig them. The mason jars were my grandfathers. I only grabbed 1 box of 8 when the house was getting cleaned out. I’ve given a bunch away as gifts, but probably...

Went back to the 1910-capped clay pit bottle dump that I have been extensively excavating since January. It is very difficult digging but the trade off is the bottles often come out in great condition. In about two hours of digging I recovered three blob-top beer bottles, one tooled lip med, and...
Got out today during a strong wind storm. The wind and waves washed away all the silt and exposed many old bottles to the surface. Here are some of today's finds:

From what I can find, Gilbert Brothers & Co. was a medicine company...
Hi, I'm new here! I'm a house historian/preservationist by trade and a major history nerd. I was just given my first detector as a gift, as I've been talking about wanting one...I've been into hunting bottles and other relics for some time now, I'm mostly interested in the detector as a way to...
Show us your top 3 dug bottles! I know some people on this forum have dug some crazy rare + cool stuff, and I'd love to see everyone's personal favorites. It's hard to choose, but my best 3 are probably my R. B. Webster squat porter and ale, my Charles and Co whiskey, and my John A Darlington...
I got sent home from campus due to coronavirus, but the weather hasn't been ideal for digging until yesterday. The wait was totally worth it, because after two hours I pulled up this!
The neck showed first, so when I pulled it out of the dirt I thought it was a broken blob because it was so...
Was wandering some trails near me.. on an old farm property that is now crown land.
Looks like someone has been busy detecting and digging!!!!
They have failed however to fill their holes..sadly.. but maybe they are not done!
I try to avoid buying bottles, as I'm running out of space as is. However, I found all of these for 3 or 4 bucks each at a local antique market. At that price, I couldn't pass.
I dig up plenty of S. Liebmann Sons bottles(along with a few Obermeyer and Liebmann's), but never their older blob...
Hi everyone. I figured as an introduction I'd post some of the best finds from my most recent dig. I've been working in a massive dump all summer. Unfortunately, the project has been put on hiatus due to college, but I hope to get back in there later this month. These bottles the best ones from...
Hey everyone!
I just joined Treasurenet, and figured as a first post I would show you guys some of what I find, and enjoy hunting for. Fossils are my main thing, but I am into finding any sort of treasure! I also put videos together of my hunts and will definitely be sharing some with y'all...
Hi Fellow hunters, I'm looking for a decent bottle hunting spot around Philadelphia. They don't even need to produce whole bottles, I can use the glasses for an art project i'm working on. The old colored bottles are really neat so that's what i'm after. Anyone know a spot and want a hunting...
