    Battery Charger Question !!

I just purchased an Excaliber II that comes with a charger that says Input 110V, Output of 14.3v DC..60HZ...

My question is I have a Whites battery charger that says Input 120, Output 11.6v DC 60 HZ...that does both "fast" charge and "trickle" charge...Can I use it to trickle charge my battery on the Excaliber..?? I have read stories about batteries being cooked using Minelabs own battery charger...

    Thanks...

    Re: Battery Charger Question !!

BRC First off the 120 or 110 voltage is 60Hz AC . the lower voltages are DC. The 11.6 is for charging Ni Cad type batteries for the Whites re charable battery pack. This voltage is to low to recharge the Ex cal pack. Frank
