Made a couple of short hunts this weekend between rain drops, Got some big silver in the form of a nice Franklin half dollar (second one this year) and 2 barber dimes 1911 and 1914 also a rosie for luck! The trails through the park produced a silver and turqoise ear ring that looks fairly old with the old screw type back on it. On the way back I got a real interesting watch fob that has the statue of liberty on it that came from 12 inches deep! I almost gave up on digging that beauty! The most interesting find was a very large coin that says 10 pennia on the front and has a large N on the back with a crown and roman numeral 2 on it, it has the date of 1865 so if anybody has any idea what this thing is the info would be appreciated. I finished up with a 1939 dog license and a nice size piece of float copper that we get here now and then, its my second piece in the last week. I hope you all are finding the treasures of your dreams!
