Tough to make out some of the details, but it looks like one of the 1863 copper varieties of the Peebles store cards. If so, the complete inscription on the reverse should be:

PEEBLES / DEALER / IN / STAPLES & FANCY / GROCERIES / 5TH & RACE / STS. / CINCINNATI

Is the edge plain like that of a cent, or reeded like that of a dime?

If it's plain, it's rated R8 (5-10 known) — #OH 165EJ-10a1 — Fine, $30+.

If it's reeded, R6 (20-75 known) — #OH 165EJ-10a — Fine, $20+.

How can you read all of that :dontknow:

I can't! :D

However, the last half is fairly clear, and the address is enough to cinch the ID.

BTW, there are also brass and zinc varieties, rated R7 and R8, respectively. Although they're rated about the same for rarity as the copper varieties, they tend to bring a bit more, especially in higher grades.
