Top left is the coolest one I think its a 1794 ERSKINE & GIBBS BARRISTERS, HALFPENNY
Top Middle is a Rose Farthing of Charles I 1625-1644
Top Right GREAT BRITAIN FARTHING 1799
Row under that, Well I'm just not sure other that the far right is a 1694 Hibernia Halfpenny
Bottom middle row is a new york dutch 1737

What do you guys think one should have paid for this? I'm meeting him again on monday he said he has more. I've been collecting and detecting for 23 years now and I dont know to much about non american coins. I just liked them.

That is a beautiful grouping of old coppers! You got one heck of a deal. Go to a library and get peruse the Krauss World Coin Catalog for the values. :)

In answer to the question it was a good buy, they look a little over cleaned in the past but good gap fillers.

Fantastic finds for just $20, no matter what they turn out to be. I certainly would have paid $20 for them any day of the week!
