Hello everyone!

I met up with Ron and Richard today to do some detecting. We all did pretty good today! Here's what I dug:

1919-S Mercury Dime
1925-S Mercury Dime
1935 Mercury Dime
1946 Canadian Cent
8 wheat cents dating from 1926 to 1957
8 clad quarters
17 clad dimes
ZERO nickels
47 memorial cents

I took pic's of the silver coins before and after I cleaned them up. These are my silver coin finds #2, #3, and #4 for the year!

Richard found a really cool bronze or copper medallion! It's about 28 or 19 millimeters in diameter. The back reads..... 1890-1940 Omaha Woodmen Golden Anniversary
The front has 3 mens pictures with their names engraved above their pictures. They are from L to R: Joseph Collen Root.....De Emmett Bradshaw.....William Alexander Fraser. Richard also dug a real nice looking 1937 Mercury dime.

Ron found two merc dimes ('44 & '45), a token, and a nice sterling silver ring with a big stone in it!

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Nice Finds Neil! Congrats!
I am SO envious of you right now!
We've been frozen in here in PA. since the first week of December, with no warm-up forseeable in the next 2 weeks. :-\
Going nuts without detecting!
I'm glad you scored some goodies though!
Nice Mercs!

Neil, great finds again! The early Mercs and the tokens are sweet. It looks like you've found a spot that hasn't been hunted much, if at all. You need to keep hunting it.

Sweet finds, the silver is great. But the token, for me is the prize. Great job and happy hunting.

Outstanding finds, congratulations on the silvers, but even a bigger one on the W.O.W. metal.
