Piece of gold

For a moment I thought I had a coin. This is an old pendent, real old judging by the depth it was found. Normally I am finding 1870+ at just 3", this was about 4-5". Thanks for looking.

Man That is a beautiful piece of gold. Sure does look like a coin. I had the same thing happen to me one time. Found a round object made of gold thought I had a coin. Turned out to be a 1907 fraternity pin with the pin missing.

That is very beautiful, looks very old.. like ancient. Also a high karat gold 22k+ What kind of site did you find this on and in what country ? I'd have a professional look at this if I were you !! Any markings ?
