Last hunt of 2010 produces a gold coin... or gold jewelery?

My last keeper for 2010 was my best one so far. It sounded like a small piece of aluminum foil (12-7 with an E-trac) and was less than an inch deep. Why I even bothered to push the dirt with my boot I'll never know? I am sure glad I did though because it turned out to be a one dollar gold love token!! ;D

This is a great find, I have to believe that a lot of people here do not realize just how low
a $1 gold piece reads on a machine.
It just makes you wonder how many have been walked over, mistaken for trash...
Fantastic !

Phenomenal!!!! Congratulations on the banner.

Wonder if it was an 1870S worth $5,000,000? Seems that only one of those was made and is in a museum, though. Value of others is pretty darn impressive, but for me it's worth the tradeoff for that personalized art. :icon_thumright:

gold is gold...shame it's been holed...

or to put it another way......without the hole it would not have been lost

Thanks Cru, definitely the BEST way to view the hole in this find and a positive one! :icon_thumleft:  This is an AWESOME, beautiful, and neat find! I found a 1853 Gold Dollar the predcessor to this coin, back in August, and I was very happy with that, and for yours to be a love token, that is the icing on the cake buddy and makes this find twice as awesome! Congrats :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft:

First I want to congratulate you on your banner find!!! WTG

Second I want to apologise to you because I did not vote banner for your find!!!! I was one of the first members to view your post!!!!

Third The reason I did not vote Banner, And I was wrong for not doing so, I thought I saw your Love token a few weeks ago on another site!!! I was totally wrong. It was not the same Coin after reviewing post from the other site!! HH Chug

Looking forward to seeing your Future posts Chug!!!

I felt this was necessary after viewing others post on your Find!!!
