I don't know what it was, but this coin had eluded me until yesterday. Got out with the two Jim's to a very historic site, we had high hopes for some nice relics but after a few hours of digging modern trash at 12" we were losing hope. The 2 Jim's had already given up and were laying in the field taking it easy as i was walking back to the car. I was on automatic pilot, I don't have a clue how the dime hit on my XLT, I just know i wasn't expecting a coin. There is no rhyme or reason to how deep things are, after all the deep modern trash this dime was just under the sod, go figure.

WoooHOOOO! :headbang:

Congratulations on that awesome piece of silver. I wish you many more, and judging by the photos you provided, there should be more around the front and back of that home.

I know, it is almost embarrassing.

Don't feel sorry for me.

I have a lot of other good stuff to make up for it.

I was just telling oddcoins the other day that after 20+ years I have never found a watch fob. It was a great feeling to get that one, I know! It's in excellent condition too!

Wow, your FIRST Barber, Congrats.

I know there have to be some old one room school houses in Ky. Check some of those out, I bet you will find more Barbers and even some seated coins and lots of Indian Heads.
