Long cold day in the woods and all I got to show for it

Is a hand full of lead some shell fragments and an artillery button.

I dug a few bullets I haven't dug before. I've been digging this piece of land for a year now and finally found my first button. My next target is an artillery shell. I hope it doesn't take another year to dig one. The button is pretty rough but it looks a lot better in person.

I wasn't complaining. Any day in the woods is better than sitting in front of stove to keep warm.
These are my typical finds in this location. Minus the button. That's why I keep going back.
